Sustainability

“Every day, our actions shape the kind of world we want to live in”.

We believe a garment is only as beautiful as the story behind it. With a love and respect for Mother Nature and its inhabitants, here at Robb and Lulu, we are passionate about creating conscious fashion that’s kind to people and planet. We strive to consider our environmental impact at all stages of our garments’ journey, and are constantly seeking to lower our impact.

Sustainable Materials

We opt for more sustainable materials, that are natural, organic and non-toxic. These are gentler on the planet and on your skin. Our materials include GOTS certified organic cotton, natural flax linen and plant-based silks, made from citrus fruit and banana husk fibres. We also use eco-friendly dyes

Eco Packaging

From our garment bags to our mailer bags, we use plastic-free, home-compostable packaging. These are made from corn starch and can be composted at home with your fruit and vegetable scraps.

Ethical Production

From conception to creation, and eventually to you as the wearer, we want our garments to inspire and empower people. We are therefore passionate about ensuring our garments are made fairly. We manufacture our pieces ethically in India, in a small, female-run workplace. All workers have fair, safe conditions and a living wage.

Giving Back

We donate a portion of all garments sold to environmental organisations, such as the World Wildlife Fund Australia. The WWF works to conserve and care for our native wildlife, and are helping to regenerate our natural environment.

“You cannot get through a single day without having an impact on the world around you. What you do makes a difference, and you have to decide what kind of difference you want to make”. – Jane Goodall
